If you give a mouse a cookie, he's going to ask for a glass of milk.

Today, Israel is pulling settlements out of the gaza strip. As the newspapers rejoice what how "historic" this "first step" is, let's review the history of Palistinian attempts to establish their own state.

David Horowitz's essay, "Why Israel Is The Victim And The Arabs Are The Indefensible Aggressors In the Middle East" documents how time after time there have been compromises and generous offers and consessions made to Palestinian leaders which were then spat on and answered with increased terrorism and suicide bombings. IRIS, (Information Reguarding Israel's Security) also has a pretty good refresher course on "Who's Who among Palestinian Terror Groups." Their page on the PLO is particularly consise and well done.

But no better case is made for Israel than that made by their wonderful peace-loving Palestinian neighbors themselves. Check out "Does this Jewist Settler Appear Peace Loving?" I would say it does more damage to the Palestinian cause than to the Israeli cause, just like the all the rest of the Palestinian terrorism.

I, of course, understand that not all the Palestinians are the evil bomb-making Jihad-high maniacs that many Zionist groups would make them out to be, but if you look at the record of which group the vast majority of the terrorism in Israel is coming from, it's the same group that is rejoicing today because it's strategy of terror has worked.
