I can't see!

I am attempting to use a terminal at a community college. This type of computer desk was designed for taking tests and not alloing the person beside you to see what's on your screen.

The troulble is that the way it does this is that it puts the screen so far away as to make it impossible to see what you're doing. Hence, the many spelling errors and typos that are no doubt in this piece - I can't see what I'm wrigint at all.

This concerns me. Why do we seem to have engineers who are so blubberingly mind-blisteringly stupid as to design something like this desk? Furthermore, one begins to wonder about the sanity of the teachers and administrators or whatever at schools who actually decided it was KO to use these. Where do they think this is? Mars? Furthermore, this encourages the most terrible posture in all possible universes.
